Leslie Johns is a professor of political science and law.

Her research and teaching lies at the intersection of international law and international relations.

She has published on diverse topics, including the design of international courts and treaties, international trade disputes at the WTO, the property rights of foreign investors, universal jurisdiction trials, the International Criminal Court, and the Alien Tort Statute.

​She is the recipient of the Michael Wallerstein Award for political economy and multiple fellowships from the Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance at Princeton University.

She serves on the advisory board of In Every Generation, which is a 
legal advocacy program dedicated to combatting antisemitism.
